Hi!
I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!
My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.
How about y'all?
So, my friend spoke to Ms. Cole earlier over the phone about acceptance letters and she said they were still waiting on ONE person to reply. So if they reply soon then we should get them tomorrow, if not then she said she doesn't know about Monday (maybe). Also asked if there was an increase in applicants from last Spring and she said yes about 100-200 more which is why it took longer this semester, but that this time around there was a big increase in the amount of people that applied to Houston. That's all I got, I'm praying we get acceptances by tomorrow.
Whoever is that one person, you suck! (jk)

Greetings, future nurses!
You guys are providing us with much needed entertainment. We occasionally log in to read your posts, just to make sure there is no misinformation being shared. Apparently, some of you are very creative with your interpretations of phone conversations.
All student application materials are now present and accounted for, so please don't form a search party and go after one or two random students whom you think have yet to respond. We are now waiting for critical information from each campus before we can send out notifications.
We understand how hard it must be to wait. Please accept the following ten alternatives to calling and emailing about when notifications will be sent:
1. Go to the movies.
2. Take up yoga and take deep breaths.
3. Do some meditation and ponder your future nursing career.
4. Spend time with friends.
5. Pet several puppies (but only if they allow you to do so. Please don't go up to strangers' puppies and pet them. We are not responsible for the consequences.)
6. Read a book.
7. Get lost in a YouTube spiral of kitten videos.
8. Go to the gym and work out.
9. Take a nap.
10. Listen to cool jazz and think about ocean breezes.
We are so thankful for your patience and understanding.
Your intrepid advising/admissions team,
Mrs. Close and Ms. Cole :)

Not trying to sound dramatic but I don't think I'll survive another weekend of waiting lol
