TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

How about y'all?

I really hope it's today! TWU is my first choice but I got accepted to another program and the deadline to let them know if I want my spot is today! ������������

Congrats, that's got to be a tough decision then. Really hope they get them out today for you!

Exactly what I was thinking. Quit being a bunch of Debbie Downers! I would suspect that at 1659 a lot of emails are going to be getting received...

I think she said that they were waiting on critical info to come in from each of the nursing schools. I have no idea what that information is but I'm thinking there is just as good a chance of it coming in today as some day next week? I'm completely assuming all of this and, to be clear, I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about. :) But, let's think about it - if it has to do with spots available for Spring 2018 then maybe they're looking at how many of the current J1s will need to repeat the semester (which trickles down on how many spots are available to us). Or, maybe they're looking at how many teachers they will have to teach said amount of students and could be waiting on offers to be accepted or something like that. Who knows? But, in both of those scenarios, there is no reason that that information would change from today vs. a day next week. We're still in the throws of the first part of the semester so I can't imagine grades are changing that much. As for the teaching staff, there's no real difference in decisions like that being made today vs any other day. Does that make sense? I'm hopeful for today. If it doesn't happen, it probably will next week. I don't see the harm in hoping for today, though.

Also, I would like to add "Coming up with completely assumed and worthless theories because I can't stop focusing on possible news that might not even come today" and "NOT STUDYING FOR YOUR PATHO TEST LIKE YOU SHOULD BE, LIZ" to the list of things to keep ourselves busy today.

I'm hoping for today, too, because from previous posters, they said the advisors said if the remaining students replied in time (which they did), emails would be out today. I know they're waiting on information from the schools, but I'm still hopeful lol :)

On a happy note - let's all discuss the things we're gonna do if and when we do hear our happy news!

First, I'm gonna dance around my house like an idiot and call my husband at work and scream into the phone in excitement. He'll love it, I promise. Then, I'm gonna head on down to Chinatown and eat the spiciest, most delicious Hunan cuisine I've ever had. Then, I'll find myself a dirty martini - because they are salty and delicious and those are my two favorite things. What about you guys?
