TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

Is this true? If so it's the first nursing program I've heard of doing this. Usually for ranking they only take into account what was completed before the deadline.

well they told me the classes had to be down before the deadline. some schools post grades after the deadline which is ok as long as the course ended prior to August 15. the transcript had to be received before September 1st.

I was told that it did not matter when the class ended, just as long as they received my updated transcript by September 1st. What is even more frustrating is that I had to send my transcript TWICE and they still have no record of either.

No, I don't think so. I already spoke with someone about my issue weeks ago.

I did call about my transcript to follow up and the lady was somewhat helpful, but she really couldn't do much. She said they get thousands of letters in their P.O. box and as far as the electronic version of my transcript I sent, they have no record of either (I sent two electronically, one by mail). And as I said in a previous post, let's give those people a fair chance.

This happened to me when I first transferred to TWU last year. They kept saying that they didn't have my transcript but my previous university said that they sent it.

After a lot of back and forth calling between TWU admissions and my previous university, we figured out that TWU had my transcript all long but filed it under a different name because my name was apparently long and confusing... (my middle name just has two parts to it and they added the second half of my middle name to be part of my last name) maybe you could be experiencing a similar issue?

I sure hope the 2 people they were waiting on have done what they needed to do. This wait is becoming awful and really showing me just how impatient I am!!!
