TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

How about y'all?

I am guessing they most likely do if the admins are just waiting on their reply. They must have sent the email out Monday or Friday, so those students have the full 5 business days to respond with any discrepancies. Like most of us we had no need to respond since everything was in order and maybe that's the case with these two. Either way we should hear something early next week.

thats basically what Ms.Cole said. I believe they already have their rankings they just have to add or delete 2 people. i wonder what campus these two people applied for.

Some students took classes during the summer that ended after the deadline. It takes time to send in updated transcripts. Let's all be patient and give everyone a fair chance.

Is this true? If so it's the first nursing program I've heard of doing this. Usually for ranking they only take into account what was completed before the deadline.

It is pretty doable! There are some weeks it was very stressful and busy but just stay on top of studying and homework!

Thanks for sharing your schedule. It seems like you have Fridays and the weekend to yourself, is that true?

In my case, lonestar classes didn't end till the 20th of August. So we had to have ordered the transcripts before grades were posted, but have them sent once grades were out. Basically, the transcript is stamped that it was ordered before the deadline, but that grades weren't out yet. So I don't know what these people are missing...

I have been using this time to flex and train my patience musculature. I am sure there will be other times throughout my nursing education (and career) that having strong patience will come in handy. In fact, I challenge these two upstarts to a battle of patience! Can you two even last against me? What happens if they do not respond? I can wait, how long can you two wait? I've got unlimited minutes and plenty of snacks. Bring it.

Of course, im just kidding. An extra day or week will not change the grades I made, but they just might give someone that extra time to complete what they need, and man wouldn't I appreciate that if I were in the same boat.
