Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.
Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?
I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.
If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?
Plasma, don't feel left out :icon_hug:... You are a part of this great online community. No one said we can't all keep in touch once school starts, right? People here are so wonderful and suipportive here, I just wish I had joined earlier.
just so you guys know..I was jumping and screaming to my husband..."goopsy, supersweet, rha-hea and butterfly got in..." I think I took this online community to a whole new level...
Congrats, everyone! I got in as well!!! I'm kind of in shock and didn't believe the email, at first. I had to come on here to check to see if others received it. I wasn't expecting an email....this is so GREAT!!! CONGRATS to the class of Fall 2011!!!!!
sunniiie and ali523 and 123wannabeanurse: Congrats!!!!! I am so happy for you. I can't believe TWU sent the Houston emails tonight when they said earlier they were going out on Monday. lol. they sure like to keep us guessing! haha. I bet most don't check till Monday now...

noni79: The title of the Dallas email says "Congratulations - Acceptance Spring 2010 Traditional Program - Dallas Campus: NURS-APP". The second one says the same thing except with "Correction" in front of it since the first one said Weekend program in the body of the email.

OMG!!! i gave up checking allnurses.com and portal email until monday at least. However, I'm dying of boredom at work, so i gave in and saw your post... thinking to myself "oh man, don't get your hopes up..." So i logged on to portal for the umpteenth time today and i saw, "Congratulations - Acceptance Spring 2010 Traditional Program - Houston Campus"! My email is also time stamped 7:36 PM! I didn't think they would be working after business hours but I guess i was wrong!
