  8. Did they mention at orientation what kind of stethoscope to get and what books are needed for the first semester of the weekend program?
  9. Which books do we need for Pharmacology and the other first semester classes? I missed orientation.
  10. Thanks All, I have been in contact with the college and they are going to have a meeting with all of the people who couldn't be there last night. I did manage to register from home, but I didn't know if there was a certain section I had to pick. I just picked one and I hope I got the right one.
  11. Hello All, I am in the Weekend nursing program and had to miss orientation last night due to my truck breaking down. It killed me to not be there. I am hoping some of you were there and wouldn't mind filling me in on the information I missed. Did they tell about uniforms needed, equipment, books, etc.?? Anything you could share would be great!!
  12. Does anyone know what book is used for Pharmacology in the weekend program?
  13. Congratulations! Don't worry about the Patho....you'll do fine.
  14. They will want a titer on you. The doctor will draw blood and test it for chicken pox immunity. They will want a copy of the lab report for the varicella titer.
  15. If you can't find the record the doctor can do a Varicella titer. I had one done for mumps, measles and chicken pox. I never had a mumps or chicken pox shot, but I had the mumps and chicken pox as a child so it showed up on a titer. You have to include the lab results of the titer with your immunization sheet.
