Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.
Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?
I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.
If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
oh by the way, I do have the west coast university study guide. i think they either moved it or took it off...i must've downloaded it before they did that. If you PM me your email address, I'd be happy to email it to you!
I would really like to get a copy of this, but I'm not able to PM yet. :/
Hey,is anyone taking 2013 gender and social change for their multicultural woman's studies credit this fall?I registered for the class, and I think I'm going to take a professor named ********,*******.It seems like alot of ppl are registering for her class, because I had to get on the waitlist and wait for a spot to open.Does anyone know if she's easy?It seems like she is,but I can't find any reviews on her on ratemyprofessor.com, so I was wondering if anyone else heard anything about this professor. Thanks
hey everyone. sorry I have been gone for so long. I have had 2 pharm tests in the last week and a half! glad they are over. Seems like a lot of people have taken their HESI...that's great.
Also, yes, reading comprehension is a part of the grade. It's listed on TWU's website as reading comprehension and is very essential to the grade. I guess it's getting closer to crunch time! Time has flown by this month.
No,not the reading comprehension.I had a separate section titled "Critical Thinking" which consisted on 30 questions. My test format was Math,Reading Comprehension,Grammar,Vocabulary,Bio,Chem,A&P,Critical Thinking, than the last twu sections about personality and what not.Sorry for the typo saying "critical reading" :-D

Yeah sorry about the misinformation. I wasn't given a calculator either. But there really were very few calculations required on the chemistry portion. The math took a while, doing everything by hand, but it wasn't super difficult. Overall I would say I overprepared. But that is definitely preferable to the alternative. I did better than expected, and am happy with my score. Good luck everybody!
