  1. I just pm'd you.:)
  2. Thanks! To the OP, I also recommend the calendar. In addition to that, I have a planner and I write everything in there too. I even schedule in study time, lol. I'm a terrible procrastinator, but this really helped me.:)
  3. I wish I read this before taking my online classes. Either I am a terrible procrastinator or I work best under pressure, because I always left things til the last minute, lol. Somehow I managed to pass, but these are really great tips. :)
  4. This sounds like a really great idea. I also have four kids and am not always able to go read on my own. What type of recorder did you use? Could you recommend one? Thanks!
  5. Well, I'm new to the forum and am just wanting to get different perspectives. I've been taking pre-req's for 1.5 years. I can either begin an ADN program in January or wait until Fall 2010 to begin a BSN program. My ultimate goal is to be a nurse practitioner and my dream school is the one offering the BSN, but I feel like Fall 2010 is soo far away! There's also the chance that I won't get accepted into the BSN program and then I've just wasted a whole year for nothing. I'm very confused and don't know what to do. I do not consider school a waste of time, but I'm not getting any younger and I do feel like I've wasted too much time before even being able to start school. How long did it take (those of you in nursing programs or who are already nurses) to finish pre-req's or graduate? Would you choose the ADN program, or wait for the BSN?
  6. I plan on applying to TWU and HCC (Houston). I still need some pre-req's, so it won't happen until fall 2010.
  7. I got a D the first time I took A&P II. It made me so sad. I even thought about giving up on being a nurse. Then I re-took it and made a B. If you really want something, don't give up!
  8. I'm done with both A&P's and Micro, but I'm taking Chem this fall. I'm really bad at math, so I'm not looking forward to it.
  9. With A&P 1, I took English 1 and US history 1. With A&P 2, I took Govt, US history 2, a math class, and Micro.
  10. I would really like to get a copy of this, but I'm not able to PM yet. :/
  11. Hi. I am taking the Hesi soon and would really appreciate it if someone could send me the pdf too! TIA.:)
  12. I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm doing this correctly. Anyway, I'll be done with pre-req's at the end of this year. I'm still not sure what schools I'll be applying to. I live in Houston and I've heard it's very competitive here. So, I may apply to other cities as well (still in Texas, though). Basically, I just want to know if it's too early to start applying? Also, does anyone have any recommendations for schools not in Houston? Thanks!
