Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:
That is great no worry about that issue. If I have to take the exam I am fine with that, but I do not want to have to take a class that is for sure.
A classmate went and ask the Nursing Office about how the gpa and net scores determine the acceptance into the program and we both were alittle discouraged regarding the answer we received. She was told that answer could not be given. She asked the front desk lady and she went and ask someone else and she came back with that answer.
This waiting is so crazy.
I have been through this waiting game before with UTA and ended up on the waiting list and of course I did not get a slot. It just seems like there should be a better way to go through this process.
For a little advice if for some reason you do not get in please do not give up and another please take Patho. before Nursing School. It is tons of information. First exam stats average 74. There were grades between 40-98 and only a two point curve due to the person that made the 98. We are still awaiting our grades.
I was taking Pharmacology and Algebra for UTA because I applied for their program again, but guess what I had to drop these two classes to concentrate on Patho. I was a mental wreck with all three classes. I pulled my application for Spring admission from UTA's pool. If I do not get into TWU I will concentrate on my last two classes for UTA next semester.
If I don't get in this spring there are tons of other bsn programs I will b applying too(like ten of them). I've been in school almost eight yrs straight ( four for my first degree n three for nursing prereqs) I refuse to take anymore classes after this semester. UTA won't be a option for me since I refuse to pay university tuition and I have loans and other bills to pay for right now which is why I'm working full time. There are tons of programs for me to take without patho and pharm so I will try to get into one of those plus TWU with my new gpa once I make this A in micro (it will get bumped up to a 3.7). So I won't give up. There is a girl in my micro class now already accepted into UTA she just has to finish AP II and micro

I am praying and whatever GOD has planned I cannot change. He will either close or open the door.
Waiting is miserable:no:
