TWU Spring 2009
If you were rejected or waitlisted, I would advise retaking the class you got the lowest grade in (if it's offered during winter break) and retaking the NET. I took the prep course (classified as continuing education, not a credit course) at El Centro for 4 hours on a Saturday and read the NET prep book that you can buy online. I think they really helped me. You have to learn how to take the test. Also, make sure you are texas "core" complete or you have to take some classes at TWU. Good luck everyone that's still waiting to hear or that got wait-listed. I know of at least one person that got into El Centro's fast-track ADN program that won't be going to TWU (she's doing it because of the time and money it saves and then she'll go ADN->BSN later, like at UTA - all online).

TWU Spring 2009
I know a lot of applicants had applied several places, so some that got "accepted" will not send the letter back to TWU if they got accepted elsewhere (for instance - a lower cost ADN program), so there will still be slots opening up... think positive!

TWU Spring 2009
I got an acceptance letter today too. My GPA was 3.9 (w no .4 adjustment since I didn't go to TWU) and my net was 81. Good luck everyone...

TWU Spring 2009
Oh, I should have left the original thread -- I was replying to an earlier message about someone taking the NET in October. Yes, I did apply and am hoping to get in for the Spring'09 program. I also took a CompSci course @ Richland, so I'm ok since it's showing on my TWU transfer list. If I don't get in, I guess I'll check out UTA, but then I'll have to retake A&P and 8 more hours there (yuk) and technical writing.

TWU Spring 2009
If you were applying to Spring 2009, then the NET had to be taken by 9/1...
