Hello everyone! I tried to search for a thread for TWU Houston Spring 2016 applicants but I couldn't find it so I decided to make one. I have read multiple threads from the past TWU applicants and I cant seem to figure out where I stand because some got accepted with low GPA but high TEAS score while others high GPA but low TEAS score. A little bit confused on how TWU determine their candidates.
Is anyone else applying to TWU this Spring? If so what's your stats?
My stats:
GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 76
No previous degree
4 TWU preference ( not sure if this gonna help or not anymore)
Hey Bryanv, if you don't mind me asking. When did you apply to TWU school? My status still said "secondary review" for a while now. I know they mention it take up to 6 weeks for the admission process but I'm getting a little concern. If you could let me know! Thanks!
@Boozii3 I applied early May. They admitted me right after I sent them my transcripts. I hope all goes good for you all. Let me know if you need any more info. Are you applying to UT Health too?

@boozii3, I just checked my webadvisor for TWU and my status changed to accepted! I think this means I'm in? Check yours! If yours hasnt changed I'm thinking they are missing documents or something? Anyway, just wanted to let you know.
@byranv unfortunately no I took the Hesi while back but I didn't have the vocab section which is required for UT. Last time I check it was too late for me to take it
@valxoxo yes! I think that mean you got accepted to the school. Now you can start applying to the program! :) oh and I just called TWU and the said the reason why I still haven't heard anything back is because I applied for summer I which is already over lol so I have to move my application to the fall
I will. I looked at the atittesting website and the only dates left for TWU applicants is on Aug 25. I know we can take the test under different schools, but I don't want to pay the extra money to get it transfer over. I already spent so much.
@147nataly, I went ahead and signed up for August 25th. I know it's really close to the deadline but I'm sure TWU had to do with what dates the exams were available and I'm sure it will be ok, as long as we took it before the deadline. I'm going to call and confirm that tomorrow.
I took my HESI today, for the other schools I'm applying for, so now all I have left to focus on is the TEAS!
