So I'm halfway through the first semester of nursing school and realized that nursing isn't for me. I wanted to know if dropping out of nursing school will affect my academic record. Like would it show up on my transcript if I apply to another school or program? Thank you in advance!

@spookyboxes Hi! Don't worry! I see plenty of people with GPA around 3.5 that got in! The only thing we should be worry about is our TEAS scores mine is actually even lower than yours. Finger crossed for both of us. I read the past threads from 2015 applicants and I mostly see people that make at least 80 on the TEAS got in. Are you applying anywhere else?

@mhortillosa yes! You can take the test from other institutions. You just have to spend extra money to have it send to other schools

You get the result 48 hours after the test on ATI website

@valxoxo yes! I think that mean you got accepted to the school. Now you can start applying to the program! :) oh and I just called TWU and the said the reason why I still haven't heard anything back is because I applied for summer I which is already over lol so I have to move my application to the fall

@byranv unfortunately no I took the Hesi while back but I didn't have the vocab section which is required for UT. Last time I check it was too late for me to take it

Hey Bryanv, if you don't mind me asking. When did you apply to TWU school? My status still said "secondary review" for a while now. I know they mention it take up to 6 weeks for the admission process but I'm getting a little concern. If you could let me know! Thanks!

I'm not sure about that either :/ I requested ATI to send my score to TWU but I haven't heard anything back yet. I might have to call them Monday. I read the past threads and some people said sometimes it took them more than 2 weeks for the schools to receive it

Have anyone already applied? I'm still waiting to get admitted to TWU because you have to get accepted to the school itself first before you can apply to the program, but 3 days after I applied to the school I got my student ID and applied to the nursing program from my Pioneer Portal account so I'm slightly confused because I'm still waiting for the school admission

I used the ATI teas v study guide. It does help. It gives you an idea what the test will look like. I thought it was really helpful. You will get your result online after 48 hours on the ATI website
