Hello everyone! I tried to search for a thread for TWU Houston Spring 2016 applicants but I couldn't find it so I decided to make one. I have read multiple threads from the past TWU applicants and I cant seem to figure out where I stand because some got accepted with low GPA but high TEAS score while others high GPA but low TEAS score. A little bit confused on how TWU determine their candidates.
Is anyone else applying to TWU this Spring? If so what's your stats?
My stats:
GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 76
No previous degree
4 TWU preference ( not sure if this gonna help or not anymore)
And good luck to everyone who is applying!
@valxoxo7 I emailed [email protected] and they did get my scores. The name of the person that emailed me back is Cheryl Maddux.
I confirmed today as well that they received my TEAS scores.
She did say guys, to make sure we check our TWU e mail every couple of days after the deadline, because if the admissions department has any questions, they will e mail is through there. And we only will have a few business days to respond. I can't believe the deadline is almost here!
I going to try to immerse myself in my classes this semester and keep myself as busy as possible to make time go by faster.
@valxoxo7 I just want to be sure I'm logging into the right email account for TWU. I always log into it from this link - https://owa.twu.edu/owa/
Is this the correct email account?

hi Bryan... I checked the link you posted and I actually hadn't seen that before. Here is the link I use:
WebMail - Texas Woman's University
I also managed to add that e-mail account to my iPhone account really easily, just fyi, if that's something that would interest any of you guys that have iPhones .. That way you're almost sure not to miss any important e mails!
@147nataly Your scores are good TEAS scores. I don't think you have to worry. What is your GPA?
@valxoxo7 I get redirected to gmail. I don't know if have been logging into the right one all this time. I would appreciate it if you could let us know how to set TWU mail on your phone. Have you been getting mail form TWU? I have not, not even junk mail.
@valxoxo7 I figured it out :) All this time I was thinking "Why does it want to go into my gmail account?!?"
Now I see that TWU has something going on with Gmail to and that I needed to type in my [email protected]
Thanks anyway!

Sorry I just saw these posts! And yes! I was confused at first too, it kept automatically going to my regular gmail account.
Did you figure out how to set it up on your phone ? I've only gotten a couple of e mails. One when I submitted my application, and another one regarding my TSI status it says I'm not complete for math, but I tested out of math so I need to figure out what to do in regards to that.
I just called and they have my scores too.Overall 82%
Reading 85.7%
Math 90%
Science 79.2%
English 73.3%- I have always been really bad at grammar since English is my second language
I hope these scores are good enough.
Nataly these are awesome scores for TEAS! I wouldn't worry. It's rare to see anything above the 80s for this test. You did great! 😉
Hello everyone, does anyone know if anyone has ever gotten in with a 74% on Teas if so what were there stats? My stats arePrevious BS degree: Yes
TEAS: 74%
GPA: 3.7
Idk if I should even apply? Is the fall less competitive?
When I went to their info session, they said that the stats for someone with a previous bachelors are way lower than those with no previous degree. I remember the lady saying something about only a 3.0 GPA. I don't remember what they said about the TEAS. You should call and speak to a counselor and ask them☺ï¸.

Yes ma'am.
I also spoke with Cheryl Maddux and she said I can either transfer that score over to the next term or take a whole new exam.
