I think it is time we get our own thread for those of us who have been accepted to TWU's Houston program and plan to attend.
aww i'm sorry =( most apts here are so expensive if you live alone. i think the best thing is to find a roomie. a really good friend of mine mentioned that she MIGHT need a roomie for next year. she's an optometry student at UH. there's a bus near her apt that takes about 10 mins to get to the med center. i'll let you guys know if she does need a roomie or not.
Hey guys.I know they are allowing us to register tomorrow for juniors, but i dunno why they don't at least have the teachers or clinical times up like the dallas campus does already. Is everybody just ganna wait too? I know they said they want us to wait until Dec 11 to choose classes but I wish they would at least put some of the instructors.
Also, for those moving to Houston from other cities, it would be best if for you to find a roomate if you are tryna live in the rice village/med center area, that's ganna be a expensive area to live. If your looking for a places with reasonable rent, There are a lot of areas short driving distances 4rm TWU like the galleria area around westheimer, meyerland plaza area, etc.Hope that helps
something tells me that even if we try to register tomorrow we won't be able to. I think that people who have already been attending TWU are going to be able to register. I think we need to have some advising or something signed off...thats just how it is at other schools. I'm going to call twu in the morning and ask them.
Yeah, your probably right because that's what happened when I tried to register for pathophys this semester but it said I needed permission. That's how I found out they discontinued letting prenursing students take patho at the Houston campus. Now you can only take it early if your at the Dallas campus. That never made sense to me to allow one campus to do it but not the other.
