Moving this thread from the TWU 2010 spring hopefuls for those of us who were accepted. This one is specifically for people planning to attend the regular program in Dallas starting in January 2010. The purpose of this thread is to lend mutual support and encouragement to each other as we embark on this journey together. Please feel free to ask questions, and share your concerns. Everyone is welcome!

I don't have my information with me but I was wondering when were the immunizations due?

Sunniiiie, did you go through your doctor's office or did you go through a clinic?

Hey butterfly journey,

i volunteer at parkland and was able to do it at their occupational health clinic. i think its open to anyone but you may want to call, if you're interested. the cost for my varicella titer was $60. lab tests go out on thursday and is ready for pick up by friday or at the latest, monday.

hope that helps!

Ladies, we are falling off the grid. Let's keep this post bumped up :)

I'm trying to get some scheduling done for next semester. Does anybody know if we have the same spring break as the Denton campus?

I would think so. I guess we will find out during orientation. I am really wanting to find out the schedule for planning purposes. I have 3 kids!

Just an FYI, I was told there was a second round of admissions which is why some acceptance letters were sent later. I was told at the end of October that I wouldn't be getting in but in November I was accepted into the traditional program (I originally applied for the weekend program). So, that must have been what happened to me.

Which reminds me, are any of our classes online?

There are some classes online starting 2nd semester I show 3. That is the semester with 16 hrs!

I believe we do have the same schedule with regards to breaks as the other students.

Butterfly Journey, I dont mean to sound clueless but I guess I am-what are you talking about when you bump the thread up, how do you do that?

I am pretty sure that the entire University has the same spring break, which means it is the week of March 15. I am not sure what it means to bump up the thread either!

every time we reply to this thread, it puts it at the top of the first page. This is bumping.

Supersweet, it's what AnnyLPC said. Bumping is when you write something on the thread and it keeps it active and near the top of the list. I had to hunt through 3 pages before I found our thread. Just wanted to keep it current and let others who might want to join see it and know that it exists :)

Oh, I see. I had no idea that was how it worked. I always get to our thread by going under "My account" and clicking on "subscribed threads". But I can see how someone new would have a hard time finding it.

I called the Dallas center today. I was told that the tentative schedule for us is...

Monday 8-noon

Tuesday 9-4

Wednesday 8-4

Thursday 8-2

Friday off

~Anny ;)

Thanks Anny! So for those of us who have already taken Patho, we shouldn't have class Mondays. Perfect!
