Hey guys! I wanted to start a forum for us twu spring 2012 hopefuls!

About me

I have a 3.2, yikes! :sofahider, and after this summer it should come up to a 3.6 or 7 and I am studying my butt off for the teas and will only have 3 more classes after that to take. I have gotten into the university as the first step, but I am so worried about getting into the nursing program, fingers crossed :uhoh3:

jc, congrats on getting in somewhere! I have been accepted elsewhere also but TWU is def my first choice. it's reassuring to know that i'm in somewhere at least.

Yall have some really good gpa's out there. I wish my GPA was like that but I have to work with what i've got. Definitely wish I had kept my grades up in the beginning. c'est la vie.

Some new people on here since I last logged in. Hello everyone! From the posts from all of you it seems as though we all have competitive scores, so we should all be very hopeful. I completely agree that the wait is going to be terrible! It's so exciting and such a relief that the deadline is almost here. I want to just sit back and wait!

Fingers crossed, everyone! :D

Maybe we'll get our letters sooner than we think.

I hate the waiting game. I applied back in June and check my TWU email all the time just in case there are questions. I hope all of us get in! I see there are alot more people applying to Houston than Dallas. I do wonder what the competition is like.

My friend who was just admitted for Fall 2011 said that she heard less people apply for spring semester and that 80 people were accepted for Dallas and 50 for Houston. Not sure if they accept the same number for spring though...

Hello all,

It's been a while since I have logged into here. :) glad to hear that everyone is excited and doing well! Ugh..so i took my TEAS the othet day, after studying for a while and all, I only scored a 69%. I thought i did alot better. THERE WAS ALOT OF CHEMISTRY!! oh man. Thats the only part that I knew I would have problems with. My GPA is a 3.692. Im really worried...kind of dissapointed in the exam score. AHHHh now time to wait!

EVERYONE good luck. Keep your heads up, as I'm trying to do.

Hello everyone, I have been reading this thread for a while and finally decided to join in. I didn't score well on the teas either. I made a 72 and my gpa is only 3.45 so I'm not holding my breath for this semester. I am retaking A & P this semester since it will expire and trying to get that "A" I need to increase my gpa. If I don't get in this spring I will be taking Path at twu. That would be great if they have less applicants during the spring. I am only going to be doing the nursing program part-time. Is there anyone else going part-time? I have 4 kids and have to work 25 hrs a wk and can't see doing full-time. It is 4 yrs instead of the 2 yrs. I would think you would absorb the material better also.

I am also a Spring 2012 Hopefull. I am extremely nervous and scared about getting in. Are you guys applying to Dallas or Houston?

My GPA is pretty good, I did not receive the bump, and my TEAS score was average.

i am applying to dallas also. My gpa is not the greatest but my TEAS score was great but no bump either. I am also applying to some adn programs also. Good luck jack and bluebird!!
