TWU Houston Fall 2009

I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.

I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.

I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!

(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)

I thought there were more seats than 30 last time I looked. Has anyone checked this to make sure its right?

I have checked the web site and it says something like 120 seats available. But I did talk to someone some time ago and they told me a lot lower number than 120. If anyone finds anything different, please let me know. THANKS!!!

I have a question. what is the difference between the twu id and the student id and which id you put on the immunization records?

eamaya-i really want to take patho over the summer. I even fixed my work schedule and my summer for it. Hopefully all who want to take it can.

Hi everybody. I need your help. I haven't done my drug test and I have to do it ASAP, but I can't find the info of the company that does that anywhere!

Does anybody know the phone number or the link? (in houston) I would REALLY appreciate somebody's help. I already tried to contact the counselor by email and phone but haven't found her.

I think there is a link on twu's nursing website. Look under forms and downloads. U might just have to call the office and see if someone can get u the info

its soo nerve wreckin cause i still have not got the drug test day, and when i call all they say is that you will get it you will get it... AHH!

so the patho class? we need to bring money on the day of the advisement day? thats like another 500 dollars! crap

when we register for classes for the fall next week, are we suppose to pay for the classes up front there? i'm trying to see how much money i'm expected to use.

r33sa, if you are just registering for Fall, the money isn't due until August according to the registration people. However, if you gonna register for summer, I don't know.

Ok I'm looking at the wells fargo loan and I don't see the loan where they give u the money directly. The collegiate loan I see goes to the schook twice a year. Has anyone found this loan where it goes staright to u??
