Hello, my name's Tien and I'm going to apply for TWU Houston Fall 14'. I noticed there's a topic for Dallas but none for Houston so I'm starting this one, hoping it will be a place for us hopeful applicants to come and share information.
BTW, my stats are: GPA 3.892, TEAS V 85.3%, 2/4 first attempt, and previous BA in Business. I'm scared b/c of my "1st attempt" since I see most that got in have 3 or 4/4 ...

From what I learned, the admission to nursing program consists of 2 cycles right? General admission and upper-division admission?
When should I start my application for general admission? How long will it take to finish it?

You are correct. I would go ahead and apply to the school as soon as you can. Then you can send transcripts in at any time or when you finish classes and they will update your information as it is received. You will get your Portal log in and be able to track when things are received. When you are ready to apply to the nursing school you just sign in to your account and complete a short application.

I will be declining as I was accepted to the summer program at UTHSC.
