TWU FNP Fall 2021

Hi everyone!

I just got accepted into the TWU online FNP program for fall 2021! I couldn't find an existing thread, so figured I'd start one. 

Anyone else out there who will be joining? Excited to start and hopefully get to know some people.

I did, last Thursday. They wanted to know when and where I took it, and the course name (all of which was in my transcripts as well).  But I got my acceptance email today, so it must mean yours is close, too! ?

LOL, yeah my course was entitled “Statistics,” so I was surprised to receive that. But that’s fantastic news! Congratulations ???. Hope to join ya!

Hi there!!

Got accepted back in April, and I’m nervous and excited to start this program. Congrats to all that have also been accepted. Is it to early to start a FB page? Looking forward to start this journey with y’all ?

I also have applied for the Fall 2021 cohort. I have been “awaiting department review” since Jun 8. I check every day… yes even today although it’s Sunday ?. No acceptance yet. I didn’t apply anywhere else because I really wanted to go to TWU. I’m wondering now if I should have just applied to other schools. My overall GPA is 3.56, Nursing specific is 3.8. Do you think that will be good enough for a spot?

Finally received my acceptance e-mail for Fall 2021!  Almost registered for another program thinking I wouldn’t hear back in time. So glad I waited, the long excruciating, wait. LOL 

I did receive the email from the account in which I submitted my application, not the TWU email account, despite it stating official communication will be from there.

Your GPA is super high, higher than mine was! LOL so it’s definitely good enough. I think everyone was stuck on “awaiting dept review” for waaaaay longer than we would’ve liked, but I’m sure you’ll hear back soon since it’s closer to fall semester!

Your GPA is definitely competitive! When I last spoke to the advisor, she said that they are still processing applications and will be in the upcoming weeks. I think like @wh2015 it has been stuck on ADR for way too long, but it seems like the school had no intention on it taking this long as well.
