  1. Haha! What @wcholla said! It is quite early in the program. You do have to travel to the Denton campus a few semesters for weekend intensives. Have you taken online courses before? It’s pretty straight forward in that regard. Follow the syllabus, keep track of your due dates.
  2. @KimjayBSN - Woot Woot! ??? Congratulations! I have heard nothing but good things about that program. I know Houston spots are usually secured pretty quickly, so it’s really amazing getting in for Spring! Knowing you have a spot must be a great feeling ?. I was accepted for FNP, fall Denton campus. Remind me, were you waiting to hear back for a fall decision for Denton?
  3. Thanks again for making this! I requested to join today!
  4. I couldn't find the page. Is Denton part of the group name or location filter? I feel like I'm brand new to FB again.
  5. Nice! Yeah, I thought that was cool that they offered the dual program. I would have loved to have been able to apply to that one! Doesn't hurt to apply to multiple starts!
  6. You rock!
  7. No problem! Did you apply to Houston for fall? Wishing you luck. I had to stop myself from checking the portal for a few days. It was becoming too consuming ? The process is very much hurry up and wait
  8. Hey @KimjayBSN ! I applied for the FNP online. Submitted my app on 3/29 with all of my transcripts and supplemental app documents received 4/20. Later it was determined that an intent to enroll form was required and my admissions counselor sent an e-mail asking for exact info regarding my stats class. I received acceptance yesterday so it took approximately 2 months to receive correspondence. It was received through the email I used to submit the app, not the TWU account. The OAP requests (missing transcripts, I had a few that were snail mail) came through TWU email. Once I received I confirmation from my schools that TWU received my docs, I was kind of annoying in emailing OAP... but then they immediately added it too my documents on the portal. The wait is brutal. LOL at least it was for me.
  9. Good question, I'm not really on FB but if there's a group I would love to join.
  10. Thank you all ?
  11. Your GPA is definitely competitive! When I last spoke to the advisor, she said that they are still processing applications and will be in the upcoming weeks. I think like @wh2015 it has been stuck on ADR for way too long, but it seems like the school had no intention on it taking this long as well.
  12. Finally received my acceptance e-mail for Fall 2021! Almost registered for another program thinking I wouldn’t hear back in time. So glad I waited, the long excruciating, wait. LOL I did receive the email from the account in which I submitted my application, not the TWU email account, despite it stating official communication will be from there.
  13. Definitely applied to TWU for this reason. They do have a small gray area though if you apply to the program and you’re not licensed in an authorized state, there may be some question of eligibility. There are 34 according to their websites’ FAQ
  14. Oh good!! Haha yay! Hopefully we are trending towards acceptance! ???
  15. LOL, yeah my course was entitled “Statistics,” so I was surprised to receive that. But that’s fantastic news! Congratulations ???. Hope to join ya! Oh good!! Haha yay! Hopefully we are trending towards acceptance! ???
