Hey everyone! for anyone who has heard back and wants to join, I created a fb group: TWU FNP Fall 2021 – Denton.

Your GPA is super high, higher than mine was! LOL so it’s definitely good enough. I think everyone was stuck on “awaiting dept review” for waaaaay longer than we would’ve liked, but I’m sure you’ll hear back soon since it’s closer to fall semester! Wondering if anyone started a group yet?

It took me ~2 months to hear back. It felt like my status was stuck on “Awaiting Dept Review” forever. I applied in early February, and heard back earlier this month. My admissions counselor told me they wouldn’t start reviewing until May and I’d probably hear back in June, but here we are! I hope you find out soon ? I think you may be right about that! My counselor told me the same thing, but I also applied in early Feb, so I was surprised to hear back so quickly. The whole process took about 2 months from applying to get accepted for me!

Thank you! ? TWU worked best for my schedule (and wallet, ha.) My GPA definitely wasn’t great, but it was decent! Don’t let that stop you– I felt the same exact way, but it ended up working out. I applied very early and I think that made a difference as well. I hope you find out soon!!

I did accept, yes! I honestly was in the same boat as you, I wasn’t able to find too much about the online portion. Most of the info I got through the admissions counselor and threads from previous semesters. I applied to 3 other TX programs, but this one worked best for me financially. Good luck to you!

Hi everyone! I just got accepted into the TWU online FNP program for fall 2021! I couldn't find an existing thread, so figured I'd start one. Anyone else out there who will be joining? Excited to start and hopefully get to know some people.

I would take the class cyvasquez posted about! I know they counted my Sociology of Religion course as the religion credit.. I was surprised! They seem to be pretty lenient on that specific credit.

Was TCU open for part of the day today? I tried calling too, but I got a message saying they were closed

Hey everyone! I won't lie, it's kind of a relief seeing other people freak out just as much as I am lol I'm not alone, yay! I was stalking the mailman all day today, but of course - NOTHING in the mail! I did get a congratulations msg on my portal, but I thought that was just acceptance to the university.
