TWU FNP Fall 2021

Hi everyone!

I just got accepted into the TWU online FNP program for fall 2021! I couldn't find an existing thread, so figured I'd start one. 

Anyone else out there who will be joining? Excited to start and hopefully get to know some people.

Today marks one month since my status switched to "Awaiting Department Review," LOL. I legitimately thought it might have changed today ?‍♀️

Does anyone have to sign the PLACEMENT SERVICES ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM?

my application is still “awaiting for review” I just received the request to sign the form for application process.

Hi Nelly! I received that request today as well. I went ahead and got it done; no questions asked. The way I see it, every request is a test to see how committed we are to enrolling and how well we’re able to follow through on simple instructions. If we both make it into this cohort together, I’ll need to pick your brain and compare what set us apart from others to have this “intent to enroll” form sent to us specifically. For example, this is my first time applying for financial aid and I think there might be a connection but I’m not sure. Either way, I’m optimistic because it’s definitely not a rejection. I got a call from my admissions counselor a few days ago informing me about the placement service acknowledgment. Apparently it’s a new requirement, and it’ll be going out to everyone who has applied. I was told they’re still going through applications, so fingers crossed for those of us still waiting! :)

Also received the intent form this morning. I take it as a good sign. Sent to the advisor this afternoon; no change in status at this time.

Hi everyone! I just received my acceptance a couple of days ago and I wanted to say hello to you all. I talked to someone a couple of days ago, who said that they are just starting to go through applications, and if you haven't heard back yet you should in the next week or so. Good luck everyone!

Congratulations @Jbreezie ! Glad to know they are finally getting through them. The waiting game is hard. Gives me hope each time I hear some news!

I did, last Thursday. They wanted to know when and where I took it, and the course name (all of which was in my transcripts as well).  But I got my acceptance email today, so it must mean yours is close, too! ?
