TWU Fall 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

So... We bring the purple clinical calculations book by kee/marshall to class tomorrow, yeah?

Are we supposed to read something out of the fundamentals book to prep for class?

Damn this is confusing

We need:

  • the medication administration lecture printed and bought to class (I don't see it posted though)
  • the calculations book
  • read pages 686-754 in the fundamentals book
  • as for the modules...I am not sure where they are

who will actually finish reading the 60+ pages for concepts??? I will try but it is not looking all that great:down:

BTW...we were talking in Assessment Lab today about our HAPPY HOUR. Can we all agree on Thursday after lab at TwoRows? I know at least 3 new people that want to come.:yeah:

If we can agree on a day and place we can announce it tomorrow to the class.

My Evolve account has the modules on it. Module 3 is drug administration. I think(don"t know for sure) this is what she may be talking about. I am going on Friday so yall let me know what's going on.Happy Hour on Thursdays is great...hopefully I can make more than one this time. All the Professors seem fantastic so far. I am so glad they picked me!! I have butterflies in my stomach all over again.

Oops...I don't have the clinical calculations book... I didn't check Blackboard after around 3:30 or 4:00 yesterday...oh well.

Those that went to Concepts lab will know what I am talking about:

The Clinical Nursing Skills and Techniques book that was mentioned in class is a book that NOBODY has. The ISBN that was emailed to all of us, and the book that was sold at the bookstore is the studyguide version of that book. I have emailed the professor about the confusion and I will let you all know what she says. I wanted her to see that she obviously accidentally gave us the incorrect ISBN, and wanted to know should we still keep the book that we bought. I am really hoping that the actual textbook is cheap:uhoh3:

BTW the book that I am referring to is the one that she calls Perry Potter Skills book. This book is mentioned alot in the lab syllabus. We are supposed to read chapter 20 of that book for the medication calculations lecture, but if you open the book that everyone bought you will see that there is NO chapter 20.

I would add a smiley but none of them express my current emotions...maybe I should put multiple faces:uhoh3::lol2::yawn::confused:
