Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
Anyone need Books for j1?
Physical Examination & Health Assessment Book 4th edition - It's basically the same thing - NO highlighting.
Fundamentals of Nursing Perry-Potter - 6th edition - No highlighting.
Nursing Diagnosis Handbook 8th edition. No highlighting.
Patho study guide - used, some writing but it won't matter b/c you'll just need to know the questions and answers.
PM me if you're interested :)
Has anyone heard anything about what iPhone apps are good? I looked online and found a few that people seem to like - Epocrates, Pocket Lab Values, and MedCalc. Epocrates is the only one I haven't opened because it has to download the content to your phone after you install it... So far the other two look pretty neat. I haven't really looked into the pricey apps yet...still too poor for that.
Fast forward two minutes... I opened the Epocrates app, and it is awesome. I just did the free version (of course). If you ever just find a random pill lying around, you can enter its characteristics into this app, and it will tell you what drug it is. It also has drug interaction information, calculators, and resources for some diseases/conditions...pretty cool.

Cool...I downloaded Epocrates but had not used it yet. I'll give it a test run this weekend. I'll download the other apps you mentioned too.
I tabbed all of the chapters that we needed to read for week 1 and 2 and there are 19 chapter to read and 4 lab assignments......I will be reading all weekend:down:
Yup...I made myself a schedule for reading this weekend. Of course, I'm already severely behind, and Legally Blonde is on TV....I just can't resist distractions!
I love Legally Blonde "bend and snap!" HILARIOUS! Is there app's for blackberry's like Epocrates? If there is, I would definitely purchase it!
Any who, I got my flu vaccine today. Who knew working for walgreens was actually awesome, I got it for free! All I need is my heb #3 good thing that isn't too much at the county.
After a long day at work, it is time to read assessment.
Here I go...
For me personally, I have to differentiate between reading and studying. Reading helps me soak in the information and relate it to the lectures and studying makes the information stick. Thankfully all of these classes relate to each other.:)
Which class is your favorite so far? My vote is for assessment!!
