Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

I applied to both Houston and Dallas campus but all of my transcripts and test scores were sent to Denton. Just wondering if that was the right place that they were supposed to be sent to or if I needed to send some to Houston!?!?!? Also... my transcript is not updated in Pioneer Portal either? Has anyone's been updated lately? I sent brand spankin new transcripts around Jan1st and they still arent updated! Man Im nervous!! Cant wait to hear back hopefully in less than a mONTH! Good luck to everyone and let me know if you can answer any of my questions! Thanks a bunch!!

Yeah, Denton is the right place for both. They've posted my most recent transcripts, but not everything. I started to panic about my govt/history grades not being posted, but I know I have them because one of the admissions counselors sent me a worksheet one day with those grades listed. My sister took some grad classes a few years ago, and she said she had trouble with student records and admissions being a little unorganized...that's reassuring!
So we get emails? That's a bit anti-climactic... But if they're able to let us know possibly by Spring Break, that would be killer!
hey! im not sure if im checking right but i dont think any of my transcripts are posted on pioneer portal either and i sent them a while ago. haha so maybe im doing it wrong? or clicking the wrong buttons? some help would be great :)
if you go under Pioneer Portal to your Info tab, you should be able to click on Transcripts and see all that you have submitted. If you don't see anything, I would call and make sure that everything is ok. They might just be backed up. Hope this helps
I sent them everything at the very last minute. My grades were posted on the 3rd so maybe they are going in alphabetical order...my last name starts with a G.
yes that does thank you so much! i still don't see anything but i've been getting all of the emails and such so im gonna call them up tomorrow. i applied and sent in everything last fall so im not too worried but i hope they got everything! thanks again!
help!! i just checked my email and they said that they don't have my hesi scores on file and i took it last october! has this happened to anyone else? and does anyone know if this is going to hurt my chances of getting in? i emailed the lady back and i hope that they will understand that i thought that the scores had gotten there!! im so worried now...im gonna have to call the hesi people tomorrow
I think it will be okay, last semester they had a huge problem with the HESI scores... they didn't get some and the ones they got were incorrect. So I'm sure they understand and will work with you. I know this has to be a horrible feeling, sorry.
I just started at TWU houston this semester, and wow is it a ton of work. We are actually in the middle of our first round of exams.
A word of advice on applying...get everything in writing. I know that it is nice to be able to talk to someone on the phone, but trust me its a lot easier to get responses and a contact via email. Make sure that you hound them about making sure all of your credits and prerequisite courses are completed and what you think you have already done. KEEP ALL OF YOUR EMAILS that you recieve from them. You will find out that the houston campus and the denton/dallas campuses are not always on the same page. Hope this helps ya'll and I hope to see ya'll in the fall...
Oh and if you get in and they say you can take patho in the summer, I would seriously consider it because taking 16 credits in your first semester is tough.
That reminds me... Does anyone know if you can transfer patho from another school? I wish I had found this out in early January before this semester started, but I just kind of assumed it was no.
