Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
I still have A&P II and Nutrition to take in the Spring. I wish I could go ahead and apply. I guess I will just have to wait.

me too! I wish I could go ahead and apply too, but I have Nutrition, Micro and Stats left. I took Micro last semester and I took the wrong micro...so now I'll be taking it in the summer. Which campus are you going to apply at? I'll be applying for the Dallas Campus. Well good luck this is going to be a long journey ahead of us but I hope we will both be nursing students next Spring 2011 at TWU! :)
I took the HESI and the score is 84. My GPA is 3.7. I'm very worried. I've already applied for the upper division in Houston . Is there anything else I should prepare / complete before application deadline?

Does anyone else have not-updated classes on their pioneer portal?
I sent my transcripts electronically a few weeks ago (I even called to make sure they got them) but the new classes still have not been added to my Pioneer Portal. And it seems like every time I call I get sent to some answering machine or voicemail (I must have really bad timing!).
Is anyone else having this problem? Of new grades not being updated even though they received your transcripts awhile back?

It's strange that this thread is not as active as the UT Houston and UTMB threads for Fall 2010 when this is supposed to be for Dallas and Houston... Is there another TWU Fall 2010 thread?

SPRING BREAK?! Wow! That seems forever away! I took the HESI and got a 93! My GPA is a 3.95 because I already have a degree. Does anyone know how competitive the programs are?
from what I heard for last semester, people got in with around 85 on hesi and gpa of 3.8 or above. So you should be right in. And I'm going to go in there tomorrow and get a 100 on the HESI....LOL so we will all be starting the nursing program.

I got your message, but cannot send any yet...or else I have no idea how. But anywho, I did not apply to TAMU because they required too much. I don't have a stellar cumulative GPA from my first bachelor's degree, and I think their website says they look at that.
In other news...good luck to everyone! I am a bit nervous because one of my transcripts hadn't arrived on Tuesday when I called. I overnighted it on Wednesday, so hopefully they got it and entered it in the system. Anyone know how to check that?

I was going to attend TWU Denton to take my pre-reqs this past semester...congrats on your grades!!! The grades were awesome...I just had a quick question. Were you a fulltime student or part-time student? I was wondering if you were able to get a distance learning or weekend course with your schedule this past semester. The reason I could not attend I had to work fulltime and try to attend school part-time but I could not find an internet course or weekend course that would work with my schedule.
I wanted to apply to the weekend Nursing program in Spring 2011 but I think I am going to go back to taking my pre-reqs in community college where the courses are internet based and weekend based...Dallas Comm College.
Again, what were your status in school last semester?
