  1. Oh thank you so much! Me too! However, I did get accepted into WGU and waiting to hear about Tx Tech 2nd degree ABSN Online / Self-Paced - 12 mo program.
  2. Major Congrats! I am so happy for you! ?? Unfortunately, I was waitlisted. It's definitely a bummer.
  3. Thank you for your insight! We really appreciate you sharing your experience! Pharm Test Prep It sounds like you have to prepare for the test as if you are taking the final exam for Westcott/UMass Global Science Course or NHA National Certification Exam through PearVue. Either way I really appreciate you and @Current Student insight on TU ABSN program and what we need to be prepared for if we decide to join the two of you on this journey of nursing. The both of you are EXTREMELY amazing peeps for paying it forward.
  4. So at TU they have moved the ABSN into a graduate category so as long as you have bachelor degree and the core science courses (even the foundational courses e.g., Nutrition, Microbiology, etc) then that is all they are concerned about which equates to roughly 20-24 credit hours. We only have a choice of either the 18-mos or 24-mos program timelines.
  5. I wish we had a voting or trophy button because you deserve it! Thank you for these details! You are AWESOME!
  6. This is the only term I applied for but I seen on here that other students were accepted and deferred their acceptance to another term because they were accepted yet they needed to take additional courses but that was before TU moved to only requiring the selected pre-reqs (requiring bachelor degree — so other courses really didn't matter)
  7. Congrats! Are you doing the 18 mos or 24 mos? Do you know if your clinicals will be on weekends or during the week? 10-hr or 12-hr shifts?
  8. Well I hope to receive an offer letter in a few weeks to join you and @futurenurseokie this coming August. I am super excited. If you all start a FB group please add me.
  9. How was the nutrition class?
  10. Oh great...are you in the North Texas (DFW) or South Texas (Houston)? If you do not mind sharing, I am in the North Texas area. Have you met with anyone else outside of Admission Advisor?
  11. How are things going? I am in Texas and plan to transfer from WCU to TU. I am super excited. If you all have a FB group; can I please join? Please send me a direct message if the FB group is closed.
  12. Hello! I am on track to transfer TU Online Distance Learning program. I hope to start August 2025 as well. I am in TX; @Tee Smith what stare are you in?
  13. Hello! I have applied and ready to start in August 2025. Can anyone share their updates especially those who started 12 months ago? I know it's probably extremely difficult to even think about doing anything outside of nursing school work but any updates would be extremely helpful. ?
  14. Did you get accepted and start the program? If so how is it? How is the program? What are your thoughts so far?
