Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
This is pure BS!!! I am not mad at my test grade but I am mad at the fact that I have been studying none stop all D&%# DAY LONG!! I am just jolly about nursing school, but this uncertainty about what to REALLY study for is making me queezy:barf02:
If you can't tell I am bent on using every single smiley on this site. So...anyone else checking for enlarged lymph nodes after studying. I have diagnosed myself with Hodgkin's and Category A1 HIV all in the same hour
Seriously though...I am "once again" stating that drinks are soooo overdue. I am in agreement with after the test...I don't want to add to my frustration by being slightly hung over while filling in super-small bubbles on the supper-sized scantron:dzed:.
Missmoe i think we're all gonna be studying nonstop the rest of our time here. nursing school is basically that way, 100's of powerpoint slides and no review - nothing.
you'll be fine, i'll buy you a drink after the test.
what i'm frustrated about is.... the quality of her lectures
Hopefully she'll get time this week to look at the slides ahead of time so she'll know what she wants to talk about. It seems like she's been too busy to prepare fully, which is somewhat understandable since she probably had summer plans before being asked to take over the class.
I am pretty worried about this exam. I'm thinking she'll have to stick with his questions again. It just doesn't seem plausible that she'd make up her own test when she just basically read the slides last class.
I'm hitting the books & notes hardcore tomorrow. Does anyone know if tutoring will still be 4-6? He didn't say in the announcement...or did I miss it?
I really hope tutouring is tomorrow too. I have been studying since i woke up!! My grade was exactly what i thought...stupid me forgot to study lung cancer...well i did along time ago, but when i went to study again, that darn powerpoint was nowhere around!

I'm don't know how to begin to express how I feel about this class now!! After Thursday, I knew I was gonna be teaching myself this material and the upcoming material.....class now feels like a waste of $9!!! Are you serious? I go to class, to hear u make the same point or repeat the same thing over and over again....u didn't read the powerpoints yourself b/4 coming to class, and then u want to test us??? I know it's not her fault, but D@#$ :angthts:
If it makes you guys feel any better, when you start school in the fall you will be VERY happy you got this BS out of the way b/c you will definately not want anymore stuff to think about!!! And P.S. find your favorite spot to get drinks at, you'll need it. and for the love of god does ANYONE need a roommate!? lol
it seems that wednesday is a great day to get together. i heard someone mention tworows so i decided to look up their specials. if you don't know they are located in the rice village on university. the first one listed is their happy hour special and the last one is the wednesday special. there are tons of choices for food on their menu in case you don't wanna drink. i am thinking somewhere around 4:30 or 5pm. let me know what you guys think.:yeah:
