TWU Fall 2010

Published

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

Everret updated tutoring session on blackboard. It's going to be on Tuesday, July 20, at 4pm.

:hpygrp:OH! I can't wait until our 2 week break...I CAN SEE IT, IT"S ALMOST HERE!

Is it just me, or is it Monday? :sofahider

Knockin' out a class in the summer is pretty awesome. I hope we can do this again next summer. I don't respond well to prolonged periods of not-studying.

I'm with you Ryan T...it's a bit fast-paced but it's worth getting this class out of our way. I tend to get lazy if I don't have something like class or work to keep me motivated:anbd:

don't bet on many summer classes next summer except your elective, they don't offer the classes you'll need so keep that in mind when you're signing up for spring classes alot of people got screwed b/c there weren't enough spots in research or aging

So what kind of elective classes are there? I need to keep busy too or I will drive my family crazy...atleast that's what they tell me.

I'm tired of studying, guys. wop wop whhaaaaa....

ksRgonnabN19- i'm gonna have to talk to her tomorrow since tutoring is tomorrow. i'll let you know soon about the roomie.

I listened to the inflammation & asthma lectures today and took a few extra notes. I'm getting ready to start listening to immunity. Does anyone else know if we need to dig deeper into immunity than what was in the lecture/slides? I tried to read Ch 9 previously, but it was so convoluted that I felt like setting the book on fire...

Immunity was an extremely long chapter. I spoke with the prof last week and she said that her test would be lecture/powerpoint based. I just used the book to expand on some of the topics for my own understanding and clarification. From what she told me, there should be nothing on the test that was not in the lecture. I asked her if she would be using some of the practice questions like Dr. D but I never got a clear answer. I am studying for this test just as I studied for Dr. D's 1st test.

Happy Studying:)

Awesome! Thanks, Missmoe!

I'm so useless right now because I didn't get enough sleep last night. I don't think I could handle being overwhelmed with that mess...

They will offer aging and research but space is limited and for some reason the people before you will have preference and it will make you all mad. alot of people had to go to the dean and make extra spaces in the classes in order to go to the next semester.
