TWU Fall 2010

Published

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

did everett let out our class secret?

LOL - Everett is a trip. I think we'd be lost if it weren't for him though.

Did you take Dr. D? Do you happen to have any of his lecture recordings?

I took patho at the Dallas campus a couple semesters before starting nursing school so no I don't have them. And unfortunately I beleive I threw away all of my patho notes after last semester....it was a ceremony of sorts...or at least taking out my frustrations on all of the built-up nursing crap in my shelves!!! lol I didn't get a PM btw. And yes, Everett is one of my very good friends in nursing school love him :) and god bless him for finding the time to help you newbies out :) lol

okay i just sent you an email about the roommate.

thanks anyway, about his recordings. oh I didn't know he is your good friend. Sometimes he just does some of the most funny things, it kinda reminds me of how I would act as a kid. it's so goofy.

Yeah we all go back and forth being the comic relief that is so drastically needed during the semesters. He does a good job of it lol we need some more recruits for free hug day during finals week if anyone is interested haha it's fun!

I still didn't get anything?

ok i'm getting it in my email but not on the website. It's the Fountains at Almeda apartments on Almeda right outside of 610. Rent is $1015 so right over $500 for rent alone- then TV/cable and utilities is on top of that and will probably avg. out to 100 or so. They have a really good website that shows all the kickbutt amenities. It's right down the street from school I lived right up the street last semester I like the location.

thanks! how do you get to school? metro, shuttle, walk or drive?

and is it a 2-2 or 2-1?

It's a 2-1 and I don't think there is a metro or shuttle right next to it but I've never used either of them before so that wasn't something that was important to me. I usually drive and get a parking pass just for convenience and quickness.

here's their website: http://fountainsatalmeda.com/maps_directions.php

Thanks, I'll ask her tomorrow and let you know what she thinks! good night!
