TWU Fall 2010

Published

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

correction...i'm a senior I, got a little too excited with the I's :)

Soooo...just sitting in class wondering how in the world am I going to get through this next test...class tonight is/was beyond words.

I agree missmoe! I stopped listening the 2nd hour. I'm just going to read the book. Too bad I'm not going to be able to go to the review. This change is so frustrating. Don't know what to expect on our next test....

Wow, we only have 3 more lectures before our final.... So that means we have to cover 6 modules (18 different powerpoints) in 3 classes....

...Well, at least we don't have to worry about patho in the Fall.

MMMmm, time for some more beer!

Specializes in Transplant, LVAD, cardiac.

More beer is right! There is just no way to cover it all.

Wow, is all I have to say! So if there are 18 more and a final, does that mean we will be doing 9 and 9 and a final or 6, 6, 6...hmmm, atleast it is almost over.

I feel like class started last week.. :uhoh21:

I decided to crawl out of bed and go to the school to study (I know it is Friday but...). We have three more classes left and then the final. I don't believe we are ever going to finish and I hope she doesn't try:D. The more she tries the more we have to teach OURSELVES. I know none of this is her fault but this is ridiculous . If I come out of this class with and A/B I will officially declare myself a genius.

I told myself I wouldn't drink during the semester :nono:(it kills much needed brain cells), but after the final IT IS ON!!!

Anyone care to join me?!?!?!:up::down:

These smilies have become the highlight of my day!

Hells yeah, I'm with you on the a-a-a-a-a-alcohol part.

I too have been studying since early this morning. It just felt like the right to do because I somehow feel like a really big bum if I don't get a couple hours of studying in per day.

Out of curiosity, what's the minimum grade we can get in a class? I think it was somewhere in the 70-75 range?

Ryan,

The lowest grade we can make in any of our classes is a C. The university defines as C as 72-79...if you make a 71 or lower you will have to repeat the course.

I think I'm going to need to come up with a comprehensive list of reasons to keep motivated in school. Either that or form a support group. :sstrs:

I completely understand!! I personally come to the school to study just to keep myself motivated. I could easily study at home but there is no motivation there. This is what helps me...just across the street is one of the best medical centers in the world, hundreds of people that are in need of a fabulous nurse (that would be me), a never-ending career, and a salary to match!!! This d#%& Patho class (or any other one for that matter) will not get in my way!

If that didn't make you feel all warm and toasty inside, there is not much more I can offer...wait...cyber hug (obviously I am the red one).
