Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
They edit your posts if you put a name in it. I've had it done to me...
Assessment is without a doubt my least favorite class. It is basically med school 101, and this is not med school. We don't diagnose, so why would we perform these diagnostic assessments??? Arghh!!
Moe - I know!!! I guess we have to wait until Monday... As much as I despise assessment, I always liked how the faculty got their stuff done in a timely manner, but this is flippin' ridiculous.

Ohhhh. I see. I understand. Plus, I guess it makes it easier to vent about different things w/o personal identifiers. But, re: assessment. I wanted to know what specifically you guys are worried about? Is it the full P.A checkoff, the Nervous system, I mean...what? lol
We had a test over eyes, ears, nervous, musculoskeltal, and reassessing in the hospital on Monday. This week we have a checkoff where we'll be given a random scenario with around 2-3 systems we have to assess. You get two attempts to get it right, or you fail the course. Some instructors are very nitpicky, so it makes us a bit crazy.
And does anyone know what is on the pharm test, aside from all of the antimicrobial sections?
I've been making word docs out of the antimicrobial stuff. I can email them to anyone who would like them. It's basically the powerpoints with the drugs at the end, just reformatted in word and fewer pages to tote around.

All I wanted to be thankful for was an A on my Assessment test...so where is my test grade. I think she might be up to something with these grades...maybe extra credit is in our future. :)
