Hi all,
I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!
I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..
I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!
How's everyone else doing?
So my email didn't come from NursingCAS, and I know this because the email I received is not visible in my NursingCAS account, as a matter of fact... it was in my SPAM folder.
I just want to know who are these jokers thatA. Don't have their CAS associated e-mail linked in with their phone
B. Took their sweet time to reply to TWU.

did you sign up with a gmail account or some other web based e-mail service, just wondering.
the one e-mail I got from the school came to my gmail account i used to sign up with nursing CAS, and like you after i got that from TWU i checked CAS and didn't see any correspondence.
It might just be me (and there's no shame if it is just me), but I think that those that didn't have all the required information in their application when it was submitted should be given a firm handshake and a "Good luck next application!" instead of making us that did our due diligence and made sure our application was complete, wait for them to send in more information. I mean we had a deadline and we're all adults, right?
Well, I met the deadline... but there was an error that had I not seeked out followup information, I may have been in their shoes. The transcript company which processes electronic transcripts between Texas schools, lost a transcript that should have been sent to TWU. I was lucky enough to catch it and get my file updated before they reached me. However, it's nice to know that they give people a chance since things can happen. It would not have been my fault since the transcript was ordered 12-14-16 and the school said they might need 6 weeks to process it because of the timing.
The mistake was caught after the deadline but was accounted for since the classes had been completed prior to the deadline and the extenuating circumstances regarding the original transcript request form which was never completed by the processing agency.
