TWU Fall 2017 Nursing Applicants

Published

Hi all,

I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!

I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..

I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!

How's everyone else doing?

Is it harder to get a job with just an associates in nursing.

Im at work refreshing my email every 5 secs. This is torture. lol

I think that all depends on the area you want to work in. With the med center and speciality areas yes it'll be harder. But in the hospital I work at, half the nurses have only their associates and all the new hires only have their ADN, and I work at a decent hospital. All the nurses here say it all depends on your experience.

Does everyone have an anticipated graduation date in their profile on webadvisor?

Where should I check?

Log on to webadvisor.... in student view, on the bottom right corner where it has a list of hyperlinks... the first one says "Grades" further down there is "My Profile" Click that hyperlink, the bottom row of info has your program name, and includes a "anticipated completion date"..

yeah, but i'm pretty sure that's not indicative of any status decisions regarding the CON.

I didn't notice it until this morning, but I've tried every angle LOL. I checked financial aid, email, nursingcas, everything LOL

Hopefully we find out today. I'm sick of worrying. Lol

I wonder we will find out later in the day. In previous threads everyone found out around 5pm.

Mine has one too, but I don't think it means anything. I've also tried checking around my web advisor for "hints". *sigh*
