TWU Fall 2011 Hopefuls

hey! im in patho this semester as well. i figured since im done with the pre-reqs i might as well start with the nursing courses. i applied for fall admission and im hoping i get in. my stats are not the best but im ready to find out if i got in or not. i didnt apply to any other school tho. its either a yay or nay for twu only. im a post-bac student so i just needed 16credits at twu to get the .4 bump. good luck to everyone. in the back of my mind every1 gets in. :yeah:

I talked to someone from Denton admissions today to check up on my TEAS which is still not showing up. She said emails went out to those missing information, etc. so if you have not received anything (& i have not) then our applications should be complete and we just have to keep waiting, lol. She also said they were hoping to get letters out first wk of March but they are short handed and it may be until the week returning from Spring Break. :uhoh3:

I check my mail everyday but i havent got a letter yet.

Got my acceptance e-mail late yesterday. They ARE getting started....keep those eyes open come the 21st....

YAY for you!!! Congratulations and I am glad to hear they have started. Too bad this will be the longest spring break ever for many!!!

I called and talked to a lady today in the College of Nursing Advising office in Denton and she said that they are so short staffed that they probably wouldn't get any acceptance emails sent out until April 1st. She said that it is still important to check your TWU email everyday though to make sure they don't have any questions for you. Hope this helps some of you. I am so anxiously waiting too!! I wish I could know now as it would make my Spring Break a lot more relaxed.

I just saw this and WOW! Congrats and I'm so jealous of you! Why do you say "come the 21st"? Did someone tell you that they would be sending out more emails then? Do you know why you found out early? Just curious! Thanks for letting us know.

I just said the 21st because I assume they are starting to get them out, so more should follow after Spring Break. I don't have additional info from CON.

I had an issue with the CON, and finally won the appeal. I got the acceptance about a week or so after the resolution. Perhaps that is why I got mine so early.

The website says during April, now they say the 1st, sounds like they are just erring on the side of caution. Hope you find out ASAP!!!! I know it's torture- this ain't my first rodeo. Good luck.
