Hey there. I plan on applying to TWUs N&W program in February for the Fall 2020 start. I just took my TEAS test today, my score was:
Overall: 85.3%
Reading: 87.2%
Math: 96.9%
Science: 74.5%
English: 83.3%
I'm not happy with my science score, but I also haven't taken A&P II or Chemistry yet, just A&P I. I plan on retaking the TEAS in December.
I have a 3.85 science core GPA (one B in A&P I) and 3.81 prereq GPA. that gives me a 45.56 admission score, which probably won't cut it. I can't retake A&P I in time, so my only hope is a higher TEAS score.
Who else is applying for Fall 2020? Are you applying to Houston, Dallas Traditional, or Dallas N&W?
Is anyone else having trouble with Nursing Cas receiving transcripts? I submitted mine a long time ago and it was never received and I'm getting nervous!

I’m still waiting as well. I haven’t even been accepted to twu yet either nor have they even received any of my transcripts. :|

I just got an email earlier today that my transcripts were mailed today. So I'm sure it will be several days before they are received and then a few weeks to process?

How long ago did you apply to TWU? You might want to give them a call.

I'm gonna give them a couple more days since they did mail my transcripts during the holiday week. I was hoping to get this application over with before the new semester started but I don't think it's going to be like that anymore.
I contacted TWU regarding admission, they said they have had a lot of applications and are trying to get through them all as fast as possible. I was told they will email the TWU account when the decision is made. I hope that helps anyone who is worried.

I'm waiting on admission to TWU so haven't even submitted to NursingCAS, although have completed the application. The TEAS submission wont be an issue for you, as you upload the file from the ATI site. If your college submits electronically, which most in the States do, you should be fine. For peace of mind you might want to look at the system they use and see if NursingCAS accepts directly from them. I bet they do. If they only send paper copies, which I doubt they probably have an expedited option.

You'll need to start the NursingCAS application in order to send transcripts because the transcripts have to be sent with a specific page from NursingCAS. I would go ahead and start the application since it takes a while to fill out.

Do you mean when you are filling out the transcript section? They have to be listed exactly as they are on your official transcript. But for the subject, I would select the subject that the class was. They know what classes are your pre-reqs.
And I agree, this thread does seem slower than previous but maybe it will pick up closer to Feb 1 or after and we are waiting on decisions.
Hi guys! This will be my 2nd time applying to the Dallas Campus. Last summer I applied for spring 2020 with 52.4 points & I heard the lowest admitted was 53.4 points?? I re-took nutrition & A&P1 and got A’s for both & raised my Gpa to 3.56! I am keeping my TEAS score of 85.3% & I now have 58.8 points for my admission score! I really hope it’s enough points to get accepted because I know fall is more competitive.

Yes! On the application you just need to attach the 3 page score report which you have access too immediately after testing. I think as long as the rest of your application is complete you have plenty of time to apply for fall
