  1. So I know the minimum GPA requirement for applying is 3.0, but after this semester mine will slightly drop, will that affect me even though I already accepted the job offer with them?
  2. They asked common questions such as: Why do you want to be a nurse? Why UT? Why this units? How would you contribute to this unit? & other very common behavioral questions as well. Good luck!
  3. I had my interview for the PCU this morning and then 2 hours later the recruiter called me to extend me an offer!!
  4. I just got an email for an interview but it is for PCU, does that mean I'm not being considered for critical care? ?
  5. I selected critical care as my #1 choice and PCU as my #2. I have PCT experience but IDK how much that will help.
  6. I had my advisor appointment this past Wednesday at the Denton Campus & my advisor said this year they’re gonna take a little longer to send out the acceptance emails cause 1 of the 5 advisors doesn’t work there no more & so they have one less advisor to go through the applications. So they will likely send the acceptance emails out the last week of March or first week of April!
  7. I don’t think that’s why, I think less people know about allnurses .com because half of my history class has applied to Twu’s nursing school this month & barely anyone has ever heard of allnurses.
  8. You can only apply to 1 campus! The lowest accepted for Dallas this past fall was 53.4 & for Houston 44.
  9. Yes! She had the Twu preference but that only gives you additional points to your admission score, it doesn’t actually give you “preference”. Also for Houston, according to past acceptance points, it is typically less competitive in the fall compared to spring.
  10. 48 points for Houston should be more than enough!! My friend who got accepted for spring 2020 got accepted with 44 points! She was not waitlisted either
  11. Yea I applied for spring, my admission score was 52.4
  12. It is by admission score! The next highest in line go first. The lowest accepted before they waitlisted people at the Dallas Campus was 55 points but the waitlist reached all the way onto 53.4! I did not get accepted to the Dallas Campus but 3 weeks later after being rejected they extend me an offer to the Houston campus. I didn’t accept the offer bc it would be too expensive. I also know other Dallas applicants that got an extend offer to the Houston campus instead. But that all means that Houston probably has not waitlist, because they didn’t offer spots to next in line to Houston applicants, instead they offered it to the Dallas applicants.
  13. Hi guys! This will be my 2nd time applying to the Dallas Campus. Last summer I applied for spring 2020 with 52.4 points & I heard the lowest admitted was 53.4 points?? I re-took nutrition & A&P1 and got A’s for both & raised my Gpa to 3.56! I am keeping my TEAS score of 85.3% & I now have 58.8 points for my admission score! I really hope it’s enough points to get accepted because I know fall is more competitive.
  14. Wow you definitely deserve it! I had 52.4 I’m not going to give up, I’m going to re-take 2 classes in the winter to boost my GPA & re-apply in the spring.
  15. That’s so crazy!! I declined the offer to Houston yesterday, it was disappointing but I would die of happiness if I was offered a spot at Dallas! What was your admission score?
