Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again

What was your gpa (science, prerequi. and overall) and net scores??? I am applying to Galveston College and I am so nervous...I have a 2.7 gpa for prerequist. and overall 3.16 gpa...any advices?
Do you know if the schools in Houston uses the highest grades for the prerequisites or do they combine the grades??? Do some schools have a limit on how many times you should retake and a limit on how many can be retaken???
i cant speak for houston schools except for TWU. twu doesnt average nor count how many times you retake course in consideration with gpa. BUT they do take the last grade no matter if its higher or lower. meaning you made a B in english and you wanted to retake it to get an A and you made a C they will take the C even though you made a B the first time. but other schools like SFA they average your grades and i hate that.
Benaffleck you might want to retake your science classes over again you made a C. Nursing courses will be very heavy in science and will build upon what you learned in A&P and micro.
1st week of April is still the story I have. But lately TWU keeps changing their story so lets hope they keep this date. I think I might drive to Dallas to get my letter when it comes in the mail
I looked up the classes offered during the summer and for those who live in the dallas area patho is offered in the summer. I think I will stay at my dad's for the summer and take it if I'm offered acceptance. The first semester is 16 hrs so by getting patho out the way I can only have 12 hrs which would be a lighter load. I don't see that patho is offered at the houston campus
thanks for lookin out princess. i wish these letters would hurry up and come so i can calm down..OR get a job so my mind will be on other things for a change.
