don't worry, you'll be fine. that had to my brother actually. he faxed them information showing that he graduated and that he got awards during the program and that he was never convicted or whatever and he got his letter sooner than later so he can take his nclex. Remember- no matter if you got charged or not. if you get fingerprinted or arretsed. it shows on your record

I got the same letter back in sept of 2008. I filed my stuff because I also had a misdeamnor for theft when i was 17! I got my letter like less than a month from when I filed it. And the letter just tells me that I am eligible to take the exam but I would need to meet everything that is required of me to graduate nursing school, 100 fee and umm I think the application to sit for the exam. Is that what your letter says? I kind of want to call them too and see if I can still apply for a job my last semester. It says send the requirements prior to graduation...does that mean as soon as you pass the nursing program is the earliest you can send the information in? It says it takes 30 days from them to send you your approval to sit for the boards.

Mrs. Rollins, Hi there! I am currently enrolled in the ADN program here in Galveston College and I am starting worrying if I would have a hard time finding a job when my program is over in 2011. Do you think I would have a hard time? When you apply at the hospitals, do they ask what your gpa was when you graduated and can you start applying for jobs before you graduate? I would love to work at Texas Children's Hospital in the near future.

Bazooka, Hi there, you seem to know alot about the nursing program and I see that you are in the summer accelerated program and I wanted to know if you can help me out since I am considering on applying for that same program next week. I'm currently in the ADN program at Galveston College which starts this August. I got in with a 3.5 overall gpa and my science is a 3.7. I looked at the pre-requis. right now and I haven't taken a statistics, history, and nutrition classes. Would I be okay if i need to take it in the program? Mathwizard, I also applied to the local galveston college nursing program...i'm not home to check if I got in...do you mind if I ask you what your prerequisite gpa was and overall? I have a 2.7 for prerequisite and 3.1 for overall...do you think I got into??? I'm so nervous....

Do you know if the schools in Houston uses the highest grades for the prerequisites or do they combine the grades??? Do some schools have a limit on how many times you should retake and a limit on how many can be retaken???

What was your gpa (science, prerequi. and overall) and net scores??? I am applying to Galveston College and I am so nervous...I have a 2.7 gpa for prerequist. and overall 3.16 gpa...any advices?
