Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:
Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again
I am positive, upbeat and excited.
TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:
Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:
Trying to get geared up for the start of the semester. Anyone have any idea if it's a good idea to get one of those rolly backpack things or just go with a regular old backpack? Thoughts???
I'm also trying to get this shoe thing under control. I HATE all leather shoes because my feet get SO hot in them, so I've put off buying them. (Great plan, huh?) Opinions welcome.
Great I am glad that you have gotten it worked out. I wish more people from Dallas would hop back on. I would love to know who some people are. My group seems to be on a different life path than me so I don't know at how well it will work.
I forget where you said your clinicals will be. Do you have everything?
I still need to get my stethoscope.
My group is somewhat the same way, so I get where you're coming from. There was one girl from my group in my Patho class this summer, and she was super sweet. Nice girl. But she's not like me--2nd degree, married, mortgage, two kids. Not that that matters that much.
My clinicals are at Zale.
No, I don't have everything I need, yet, but I hope to have that remedied by the end of the week/first of next week. I need to get my scrubs and my shoes. My husband picked up my Pharm book this morning, so I'll go ahead and get that reading out of the way ASAP. Almost hate to do that too early for fear I might forget it by the time school starts!
Can I ask a really, really stupid question? Do we wear our scrubs every day to campus or just to clinicals or WHAT? I have this recurring nightmare that I show up the first day of class and I'm either the only one in scrubs or the only one NOT in scrubs. I know, I know...Might as well hit the Prozac now.
