Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:
Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again
I am positive, upbeat and excited.
TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:
Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:
Aggie has a 3.85 and Reading NET 79. FutureCRNA88, you should be in. Maybe yours got lost in the mail. Your 67 or 68 should have had no bearing on it, as I understand the process. Oddly enough, I've had two pieces of mail get lost in the mail at work in the last week. So it's really not out of the realm of possibility.
Yeah, I know I got accepted to the Fall program, but for Pete's sake! Get your crap together, TWU! It's simple: Run your criteria and select your admits. Generate acceptance and rejection letters (simple with an Excel spreadsheet or Access database!). PROOFREAD! Mail them. There you go. And in the meantime, you could post something on the website letting people know when you're mailing letters. Seems to me that that would eliminate the numerous phone calls they've been fielding from US over the past few weeks!
And the Dallas people have now received TWO acceptance forms to fill out and return. Yeah, TWO! I'm an extremely organized person, and I get really flustered when other folks aren't. Character flaw.
Well my understanding of the TWU process is that the NET is a big deal. You must reach at least a 70 in Reading and Math. If you don't reach this they put yours on hold until they go through the ones that did reach this requirement. I have already gotten my acceptance letter on Monday, March 30 and turned in my completed form to Cheryl Maddux yesterday. I have requested to push my start date to Summer 1 in lieu of Fall so I can get a head start on taking Pathophysiology. My financial aid should be set for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
As for what the acceptence form looked like, was a form asking we accept or decline by April 8th, your name, TU #, address and 2 phone numbers. I did not get a letter about drug testing or background checks. Can some give me an insight of to where we can get these done? I read a document on TWU's website saying that they will only except these tests from certain company(ies) and it did not list which ones.
As for all of those who got excepted CONGRATS!!!!! I hope one day we can be study partners and ACE these course to sicceed in our goals and dreams.

Oh I guess I misunderstood. Yeah my NET score is not hot. I got a 74 and my gpa is 8.9. I always love to here new information. Do you know if they are going to use the same score they had on the NET on the HESI A2? I have a friend who is going to apply next term and this information would make her more at ease. Has anybody got there form for the Immunizations?
Immunization record sheet is on the internet.
well..eamaya... i will actually wait for the pakage to arrive. This is just an example of the form. It is to give you an idea what the form looks like. I will not take it to the doctor's office because you never know they gonna have some minor changes to the form. Which campus did you get accepted to? if you got accepted to houston like us, I think you will receive your package soon. I am too waiting on the package and I'm dying to know all those dates. Not sure the info will help you . :)

My NET was not high at all. It was like a 67 or 68. But if someone had a 3.87, doesn't the person with the HIGHEST GPA get the spot as long as they passed the NET? I don't know how this works really. I just figure it would be somewhat understandable.
