Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again

hmm well somebody got theres and they live in irving..and that is not relatively close to denton like prosper and mckinney..but i dont think that just because you didnt get into dallas, you wont get into houston. i know there was a cut off of 3.8 for dallas and 3.65 for houston in a previous semester..thats not that close. and i know one time that the cut off was even a 3.2 but that was a couple of years back maybe like 03 i believe. but im hoping and sorry if somebody gets offended. out of all those ppl who applied to the dallas campus... decided NOT to also go to houston..so i can get a spot in houston with this 3.4 lol haha its all smiles and jokes ppl. its almost over.
Yeah, we hope the GPA cutoff for Houston is a little lower... I don't know though.
I"ll log on in the morning. And I'll log in if I get my letter and tell you whether it's a rejection/acceptance letter.
However, If i don't get a letter at all, I'm not goign to log on. Cause i know everyone is going to be really nervous tomorrow so if someone else doesn't get a letter then everyone is going to start guessing why. Lol, I can't think about why...so I will wait to tuesday. But hopefulyl the letter will come tomorrow so i can log on and chat whether it's a rejection or acceptance.
nhoward you have good stats of course im assuming..i dont remember what they were..but i know they were pretty high. so im sure its an acceptance. what was it again.
i recommend everyone getting a glass of wine, watching a movie, and just relaxing the rest of the evening. i truly know it's easier said than done. you guys will all get your letters tomorrow, and i really hope we're all classmates! i cannot wait to hear from you guys!
i think the rest of the ppl on here who are mostly "regulars" meaning on a daily basis are for the houston campus. but idk. lovelovelove congrats and good luck on your journey!
Yeah, thanks nhoward I will be careful. I can't afford the nice apt complex which cost like 1000 bucks near my company (in the rich area of Austin). So i was stuck in this scary place. The apt complex won't let break the lease until I agree to pay 2400 dollars! 2 months ago, a guy got shot right in front of my window. I was like:" wow... that's not you see everyday." I really feel sorry for that dude. He was dead at the scene.
nhoward. you're money. those stats are great!! and if you would have applied to dallas you would have gotten in based on those other ppls acceptance... im just wanting any acceptance letter. ive got four schools left. id love TWU but id also like baylor who is not that competitive due to it being a private school and my gpa is higer there due to the classes they require. so im being faithful and praying all nite for myself and everyone.
Yeah you can't ever pray too much. I've grown closer and closer to God during this whole process. Which is great. Maybe this was what i suppose to get out of it this whole time. God works in mysterious ways. And before I applied and got on this forum I wasn't as close to Him as I should've been.
I got my acceptance letter for Fall 2009 yesterday. The letter said that I should have already received my letter of acceptance from Dr. Pat Holden-Huchton Dean of the TWU College of Nursing which I never did. It also said I had to reply by April 8th. Has anyone else received this?
