Hello Princess WannaBe and other special Friends:
Soon we will be going through the same agony we just went through recently as we sat and waited on the letters with decisions that were made for our lives at the moment.
We are all going to be positive through this process again and once again
I am positive, upbeat and excited.
TWU Nursing Program here we come:nuke:
Princess WannaBe and others on the waitlist we are still pulling for each one of you to make into the Spring 09 program. Yes, as we know anything can happen...hang in there:yeah:
Hello to all
Thank you so very much for all the wonderful comments...I have been doing GOD's work being on this forum and guess what I will continue to pray for each of you as you embark on a wonderful journey in your life.
Please remember who got you were you are today and who will lead you through
all crossroads in your life.
I have faced disappointment in my life, but I remember the ones that GOD has given me strength and wisdom to help along the way and that within itself it one of the greatest blessings.
Ladies, Houston letters do not go out at the same time, but we will get those soon. If I do get an acceptance to Houston I will give my seat to whomever is waiting. Do you know what a blessing to someone else that will be. God has taught me a valuable lesson he wanted me to know that Nursing was not as important as my walk with him and mission has been accomplished
If GOD leads me to reapply next time than that is where he leads me, but now that door has closed and others have opened widely:)
Please feel free to email me during Nursing School [email protected] if you are in need of special prayers or just need an ear to lean on. I would never turn you down.
For my close friend, TCOLEY I am so proud of you and all your hard work. Her and I were in Patho. together and we have been through alot of personal trials together so for you...press forward:)
I love you all and I am excited and waiting to hear how everyone else pans
through this journey.
Keep a smile on your face and know this is not the end of the line for
anyone on this board....
Nursetobe,
You've been a great inspiration, you truly have. God had this whole experience happen for so many reasons, reasons that are becoming more and more apparent in my life everyday. You will make a great nurse, OT, you'll make a great anything, you're a blessing.
Thank you for all your kind, inspiring words.

nursetobe. you have a phenomenal personality. and your faith is truly impeccable. ive gotten closer this year entirely..well at the last of 08, there have been many obstacles in my life and ive gotten trough them with God, and i am very glad to have met the people on this forum. it has truly helped me. and just when i think about doubting myself and giving up i think of your inspirational words you have spoken from God nursetobe. he speaks through you and im glad ive gotten to witness it. i wish you good luck on your journey and whatever path God leads you down.
I would like to know..will people get two letters regardless if they applied to both campuses or what?
Pretty its like you read my mind. I was pretty angry. This entire process has made me fully aware of the dire need for nursing professors. There should be no reason for anyone who truly wants to be nurse (such as the fine individuals on this forum) to experience such an emotion roller coaster. This daunting experience could discourage a potentially excellent nurse from ever applying again.
exactly. they need to get rid of that damn .4 and my language was a bit foul, but seriously. its ridiculous. i know baylor gives points for their students too..bu its .02, not .2, but .02. that .4 is a whole different ball game. it takes away from somebody who has actually earned that gpa.
does anybody know the answer to my question about the letters.

That's funny. Yeah another person recieved that same letter saying they should've recieved the letter of acceptance, but didn't.
That's great though! Congrats!
