Tvcc 2011 applicants- any status emails yet

Has anyone who applied to TVCC 2011 ADN program received an email or letter confirming your status yet?

I read on the website that this is a part of the process once you submit your application. I'm just wondering if they still send out status letters/emails.

OHH OK, THAT SUCKS, I'M SURE WE'LL EVENTUALLY GET THERE. "OB" I GUESS WE'LL BE APPLYING NEXT FALL :up::up: WE HAVE TO REMEMBER TO HAVE A CURRENT TVCC COURSE LOAD . THAT'S GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE FOR ME BECAUSE I'M OUT OF DISTRICT BUT I GOTTA DO WHAT I GOTTA DO.

please can you tell me what to look forward to on the Hesi? #so so nervous

The Hesi was really easy! The reading comp. and spelling/vocab was a no brainer. The main thing to study is ratios, percentages, decimals and fractions. There is a lot of conversions between those and also some straightforward multiplication and division. There is also some military time questions. I failed college algebra and I made a 94 on the math section, so if I can do it anybody can! I made a 98 total on the test.

congrads on your test scores thanks for your response.. i take my test in about two weeks and my mind is running wild. can you use a calculator or pencil and paper?

There's a calculator on the computer screen for you to use and they give you scratch paper. You'll do great! I was super nervous for nothing before I took it!
