  1. I love this thread!! I was one of the lucky ones, I never had a messy moment until my last semester. I had an elderly, bedridden patient that a reaction to all of the meds they were taking. She was so embarrassed, and no matter what I did, I made it worse. There was poo everywhere. I nicely asked one of the PCTs to help me and she was a life safer. Be respectful to the people to sometimes do the "dirty" jobs. They can teach you the tips and tricks and can make your life a lot easier. Even if you never clean poo again in your career, it is a good learning experience. The PCTs and CNAs can help you in so many ways. Please do not be one of those students that has the mentality that you are too good to wipe a butt (we had quite a few). It is not that bad and there are so many things you can learn from doing it.
  2. I took mine at 2:00. I was starting to freak out over all of the SATA's!! My test was OVER HALF sata. I finally told myself that I must be doing really well if I am getting that many. My test shut off at 75 questions and about 40 minutes into the test, I am getting the "good" pop up.
  3. There were a couple of 13 and 12's, I had 12, but mostly 11"s
  4. Free, A girl let me borrow it and I have never seen her again - that was 2 years ago - lol!!
  5. I have one, it's a couple of years old, but I doubt it's changed that much.
  6. I screamed when I found out!! Then I called a friend of mine to tell her (she applied too) she could'nt understand what I was saying lol. About 10 minutes later she called me and did the same thing. :) About the schedule.....My friend that is currently in her 2nd semester at TVCC adn has lecture once a week and clinicals twice a week.
  7. I forgot to tell y'all, on my acceptance letter it says they are changing the application deadline for next year - it will end on Dec. 1, 2011, so if there are any other classes you are wanting to finish beforehand you may want to take them this summer. Fall semester will still be in session on Dec. 1 so you may want to consider that. The plus side is those of you who didn't get in will have a better chance :)
  8. karma, TVCC looks at current courseload, so I think she's currently taking 2 classes at tvcc
  9. Ask about a fresh start program, here in Tx it's called an academic fresh start - ours is for classes over 10 years old. I did a little research and it looks like GCSU has a program called academic renewal. You may have to retake some of those old classes but it could help as well. Ask if your school has it. I had to do a fresh start, all of my baddies were from 11 years ago. I would not have a chance if I didn't do it. I received my acceptance letter about 4 hours ago!! Never give up!!!
  10. No, but I will call her tomorrow and see if she knows and what # she was.
  11. kickymarcia, go ahead and do it!! You never know, I had a pal that was 9 points and on the waitlist, she didn't think she could get in and she did. I think they ended up taking most (if not all) of the alternates that confirmed last year.
  12. I have a friend with 11 points and she received her acceptance email.
  13. Congratulations Kreds!!!
  14. I received my email!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!
  15. I hope they did, guess we wont know until the 8th.
