Tristar Nurse Residency Summer 2018

Published

Hi guys! I just wanted to start this for anyone who applied to the Tristar hospitals in Nashville, TN for their nurse residency program. I know the applications are open for a really long time period, so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how long the process takes once you apply. Good luck to everyone in their searches!!

I have one at Summit this week and Centennial the following week! And then a phone one for a Southern Hills!!

For people that have already interviewed at Skyline or Centennial. Did you wear your clinical scrubs/uniform to the interview?

Those that accepted or received offers - is it for day or night shift?

Hi all! for those who already interviewed at centennial, did you wear scrubs?

I wore my scrubs to both skyline and centennial. I just accepted an offer at centennial for nights on the neuro med/surg unit!

Congrats!! What is the night shift there? 6p - 6a?

I had an interview yesterday at Centennial and today received an email to job shadow. Does this mean I will be offered something? Or that they are trying to decide if they like me? Is it true that all the specialty positions have been filled? Any info is appreciated.

They probably want to see if you like the unit they are thinking of offering you for. I am unsure if the specialty positions have been filled, but I do not believe there were many openings for them. I don't think they were taking residents in peds or women's health.

I just received an offer for med/surg-oncology, night shift. Oncology was one of the top 3 specialties I listed, but I had peds as #1. So I don't believe that have openings in peds.

Congrats! And to answer your question earlier, I believe the night shift is 7p-7a.
