  1. Are you just doing the e-course from NurseBuilders or do you have the book and study cards as well?
  2. I've failed it twice so far. To be fair, I really didn't put in quality study time. The first time I took it, I studied for about 2 days and deserved to fail. The second time, I reviewed all of the AACN powerpoints and did the practice questions for each section, but only once-through and with half-hearted effort. Honestly, I think it's best to approach this like I did for the NCLEX, which I passed on the first attempt because of focused studying. All of my colleagues have said, "I passed the Peds CCRN on the first try without studying so you'll be fine", which is why I gave such half-hearted efforts. I've always been a poor test taker so I should've just tuned them out and came up with my own study plan. I'm hoping third time is a charm. Right now, I plan to just stick with the AACN course review/PPTs and practice questions. I've tried tracking down other resources but I honestly think NurseBuilders is the only other source I've found for the Peds CCRN.
  3. Hi everyone, hoping to re-start this thread! Does anyone have other pass/fail experiences and studying suggestions??
  4. It's either a call or email. I'm not sure which, but yes you should find out either way.
  5. I declined my offer for that track, so I hope that opens up an opportunity for you ladies!
  6. I'm in the same boat. Hoping some positions open up after graduation!
  7. Which track did you interview for?
  8. It was a difficult decision, but I just declined my offer for adult surgical track. Best of luck to those waitlisted for that track. I hope you get it!
  9. Woops sorry, my typo! Yes, 1 week from date of offer.
  10. We have 10 days from our date of offer. I have until next Wednesday to decide, so I'm sure others are in a similar position. What did you interview for?
  11. Is anyone on here deciding between Vanderbilt & Tristar Centennial? I'm pretty torn about the decision and only have until Monday to decide. Any feedback is appreciated!!
  12. I'm so glad you gave that feedback, thank you! Where is everyone moving from?? I'm from Jersey!
  13. Those who are have already decided or are currently deciding between Vanderbilt & TriStar Centennial: what are the most important factors for you? I'm pretty torn and only have a few days left to make a decision. Both are 2 year commitments.
  14. Congrats girl! Me too! What were your top units?? I'm hoping I get placed on either neuro or surgical stepdown.
  15. Just received an offer for adult surgical track! Good luck everyone!
