Tristar Nurse Residency Summer 2018

Published

Hi guys! I just wanted to start this for anyone who applied to the Tristar hospitals in Nashville, TN for their nurse residency program. I know the applications are open for a really long time period, so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how long the process takes once you apply. Good luck to everyone in their searches!!

You too girl!!

I applied for peds but had an interview with med surg units!!

Good evening all!!! For those that have upcoming interviews for Tristar especially Centennial, they are already sending out job offers for those that have interviewed. All specialty areas have been filled. Mother/Baby and L&D dont accept new grads either

If you're ok with not being placed in the area you selected on your app go for it. HR recruiter told me I could transfer after 18-24 months. I didn't want to start out my career in Oncology especially given I didn't select that on my app. Good luck to you all!!

How do you know all specialties have been filled?

You got an offer at oncology at centennial??

I applied and received an offer. I applied specifically for ICU/ED. When I reached out to HR recruiter and she told me all speciality positions have been filled.

Yes. They offered me Oncology. Full-time nights

I've always considered Oncology to be a specialty though & it was listed as one of the tracks. Maybe just ICU & ED are full? I can ask.

I have an interview at Skyline on the 29th and Centennial the 30th but now that I think of it, they weren't specific what units they were for. I emailed Laura Rich about it because I put ciritical care and ED as my top 2 so hopefully that's what they're for!

So specialty units meaning icu are filled? Also does anyone know base pay?? Thanks!:)

Correct ICU is filled. Every HCA base pay rate is different. I think Centennial was 23 and some change.
