I feel you! I applied May 12 and at the end of this week it'll have been 6 weeks since then. They told me I could call back after it's been 6 weeks to check on the process but last I heard they were still around May 8th applications so I am afraid it's going to be even longer than 6 weeks. It is very frustrating especially when other states have their stuff processed so quickly.

@nursehailz did you hear back from Laura at centennial about if specialty units were really full already? I have a friend interviewing there and was wondering about that.

Although I was offered an interview at Vandy, it was not the unit I was seeking. I knew that it'd be a great experience but I was offered a position at St. Thomas Midtown critical care track and I have accepted it! I wish everyone luck with their interviews and job searches. I applied pretty early and I am scheduled to interview in a couple weeks. I'm pretty sure they don't start calling about job offers until April.

What other hospitals has everyone applied to in Nashville

I originally applied for MICU and received an interview for the cardiac stepdown unit.

I received a call that I was on the waitlist and then about two hours later was called back offering me an interview for a different unit than I originally applied to!
