A while ago I posted asking about the nursing program application process at Tri-C. I just wanted to update that I received acceptance into the Spring 2010 semester :D. The process was actually pretty fast. I am very excited. Hope to hear from others that will also start at Tri-C in the Spring.

I called Elsevier and they said that they never received my email. The lady I spoke to had me forward the email to her directly and she verified that I sent it to the right email address and everything so I'm not sure what happened. I was able to schedule my test that day. I have to wait until September 11 and drive out to Strongsville because of my work schedule (I live in Mentor), but I'm just glad to have that all figured out now. I already have my background check done so the A2 is all I have left to be able to apply!

Great! I'm glad you got that straightened out, and you got your test scheduled quickly. I had a feeling something like that must have happened. GL on the hesi. I'm sure you'll do great! :)

I am taking the A1 this Saturday in Strongsville. I decided to get it out of the way as soon as possible because I have 3 classes that started this week. I got the Hesi review book from the library and the Math looks really easy.

It is, also if you speak English you shouldn't have any problem with the three areas that assess that either. It is seriously not worth stressing out over this exam at all. You would think that it would be hard as heck, but then you'll sit down and almost be insulted by the types of questions asked.

I submitted my application and placement form on Friday. Does anyone know how long it will take to receive official word? My number one choice was Fall 2012 at Metro. Anyone also starting there/then?

Can be anywhere from a couple days to a couple months depending on how busy they are.

I think the email for us (Spring 2011) went out around the end of September. Our orientation was either end of October or early November.

My entire application process took two months. That includes having my grades reviewed, taking the test, completing background check and waiting to receive the application. Once I received my application and submitted it, I heard back from the nursing department five days later.

I just receieved my email today regarding orientation. I realize I have a ton of things to get done before then. However, I am having a hard time finding this NEONI test that we are supposed to take. I can't find it on blackboard anywhere! Any help would be appreciated!

Hi deniseashley,

Are you logging on the the Blackboard 8.0 or 9.1 version? I am not sure, but I believe you have to access it from 8.0. You would click on resources and then select the nurse orientation tab and go from there. Good Luck!
